Our client is a rapidly expanding online menswear brand established since 2014. They are now experiencing high growth and are looking for an experienced Menswear Fashion/Sports Apparel Graphic Designer to join their small but growing team. The successful candidate will ideally have a strong design apparel menswear background with good graphic skills and have worked for a successful online brand.
Experience in creating Tech Packs and liaising with overseas suppliers is also essential for the role.
The role is designed to transition into a hybrid work model. For the first four weeks, you will be based in the office to ensure a smooth onboarding process and to provide you with all the tools, training, and support needed to excel in the role. Following this initial training period, the Designer will have the flexibility to work in a hybrid model, combining remote work with in-office collaboration upon agreement with your manager.
THE ROLE
We are seeking a dynamic and talented Menswear Fashion/Sports Apparel Graphic Designer to join the team in their Liverpool office based just off the M62 Liverpool. This is an exciting opportunity to design for a globally recognized menswear brand selling to over 16 countries, with a primary focus on underwear, sportswear, and casualwear. Their customers are predominantly part of the LGBTQI+ community, and they celebrate creativity, inclusivity, and bold designs.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design innovative and stylish menswear, with a focus on underwear, sportswear, and loungewear.
2. Collaborate cross-functionally and leverage transferable skills to effectively represent the brand and translate designs into impactful digital representations.
3. Create and assemble detailed Tech Packs for overseas suppliers, ensuring clarity and precision.
4. Oversee the sampling process, from concept to completion.
5. Collaborate closely with the team to refine ideas and deliver standout collections.
6. Develop commercial acumen by liaising and negotiating with suppliers in countries such as China, Turkey, Bangladesh, and Vietnam.
7. Conduct market research and trend analysis to inform innovative, consumer-focused design solutions.
What We Need From You:
1. A strong passion for and experience in fashion design, ideally in Men's Apparel.
2. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) with a working knowledge of InDesign.
3. Confidence and experience in creating Tech Packs for suppliers.
4. A collaborative, free-thinking mindset with the ability to contribute to group ideas.
5. A positive attitude and a commitment to continuous improvement.
