Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust provides a broad range of community and inpatient mental health services, community services (including therapies), learning disability services, healthy lifestyle support and addictions services to people living in Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire, a large geographical area which is home to approximately 600,000 people.
The Trust also provides specialist services for children, including physiotherapy, speech and language therapy and support for children and young people and their families who are experiencing emotional or mental health difficulties.
Our specialist services, such as forensic support and offender health, support patients from the wider Yorkshire and Humber area and from further afield.
The Trust also runs Whitby Hospital, a community hospital providing inpatient, outpatient and community services to Whitby and the surrounding area, and eight GP practices - two in Hull and six in the East Riding of Yorkshire.
We employ approximately 3050 staff across more than 70 sites at locations throughout Hull, the East Riding of Yorkshire and Whitby. An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit 0.8 FTE (30 Hours per Week) CBT Therapist to offer interventions within the Perinatal Mental Health Team. This is a unique opportunity to be part of this crucial service which will consist of a full MDT team including a range of practitioners.
As an important member of the team, you will uphold the values of promoting women and family centred care whilst ensuring child protection and welfare of the family. You will strive to improve public health by endeavouring to reduce mental health morbidity in mothers through interagency working and communication and fostering collaborative working.
You will aim to raise awareness and competence by delivering education and training events targeted at key professional groups and consider opportunities to collaborate with academic institutions and other key stakeholders in researching maternal mental health.
Please note that we are recruiting candidates that are BABCP accredited.

The Perinatal MHT will identify and assess moderate-severe/complex mental health needs in the perinatal and maternity context and will provide specialist advice and signposting, as well as targeted interventions.
The service is intended to provide consultation, advice, formulation, and targeted interventions for those whose needs cannot be met by other services, for example, Primary Care Services including Talking Therapies, Maternity and third sector- based bereavement services.

Qualifications and Knowledge
Essential criteria
* Degree level qualification in core profession.
* A Post Graduate Diploma CBT qualification which meets the criteria for British Association of Behavioural & Cognitive Psychotherapists BABCP accreditation with evidence of experience delivering CBT.
* Talking Therapy (IAPT) qualification in High Intensity CBT Psychological Therapies – post graduate certificate level.
* Accredited with the BABCP.
Desirable criteria
* Evidence of project work that has impacted on practice and demonstrates a higher level of communication/planning/change that impacts within own area of work/responsibility.
* Research methodology.
* Clinical supervision qualification.
Experience
Essential criteria
* Demonstrable experience of working in mental health services, a minimum of 2 years’ experience.
* Experience of providing evidence based psychological interventions.
* Experience with routine outcome monitoring.
* Experience of teaching and liaising with other professionals.
* Evidence of continuing professional development (CPD) relevant to the clinical area at specialist/advanced level of care.
Desirable criteria
* Development of advance/expert level of practice skills and able to demonstrate the impact of this on practice change/development.
* Experience of working in a service where agreed targets are in place & demonstrating clinical outcomes.
* Leadership/management experience which has had a positive impact and created change within the service delivery/practice.
