Band 6/7 Locum Nuclear Medicine/PET-CT Technologist Location: Staffordshire Start Date: ASAP Duration: Ongoing Working Hours: 0800-1600 Monday to Friday Pay Rate: £26.00 - £31.00 P/H We are currently seeking a dedicated Band 6/7 Locum Nuclear Medicine/PET-CT Technologist to join our team in Staffordshire. This role involves working Monday to Friday from 08:00 am to 04:00 pm, starting on January 27th. With a competitive pay rate of £26-£31 per hour, the position is initially for 3 months, offering a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to high-quality patient care in a supportive environment. Responsibilities: As a Band 6/7 Locum Nuclear Medicine/PET-CT Technologist, you will perform a variety of nuclear medicine and PET-CT procedures, ensuring accurate and high-quality diagnostic imaging. Your responsibilities will include preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals, operating sophisticated imaging equipment, and maintaining detailed patient records. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centred care, adhere to radiation safety protocols, and contribute to the department's quality assurance processes. Requirements: Degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or equivalent qualification. Current registration with the HCPC. Significant experience in nuclear medicine and PET-CT imaging, ideally at Band 6/7 level. Proficiency in the preparation and administration of radiopharmaceuticals. Knowledge of radiation safety and best practices. Strong technical skills in operating nuclear medicine and PET-CT equipment. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
