Job Overview:
As an ABA Billing Specialist, you’ll manage billing operations for ABA therapy services, working closely with our team to ensure smooth, timely claims processing and payment accuracy. Your expertise will help maintain the financial health of our operations, allowing us to focus on delivering exceptional care to our clients.
Responsibilities:
* Claims Management: Prepare, submit, and monitor claims for ABA therapy services, ensuring accuracy and compliance with payer requirements.
* Billing Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts, resolve discrepancies, and ensure prompt payment processing.
* Insurance Communication: Communicate with insurance companies to address claim issues, follow up on denials, and process appeals.
* Record-Keeping: Maintain detailed, up-to-date records of all transactions, adjustments, and communications.
* Policy Updates: Stay current on ABA billing and insurance regulations to ensure compliance.
* Reporting: Create reports that show financial inflows and outflows to help the company understand its finances.
Qualifications:
* Experience: Minimum of 1-3 years in ABA billing, with a solid understanding of ABA therapy coding and insurance requirements, preferably with experience billing Tricare.
* Skills: Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to resolve discrepancies effectively.
* Technology: Proficiency in billing software and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
* Attributes: Excellent communication skills, ability to work independently, and a commitment to accuracy.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
