Identify and respond to any suspicious behaviour or items during searches. Maintain accurate, detailed records of security activities, incidents and observations. Complete necessary paperwork, including incident reports, daily logs and shift handover documents. Ensure timely filing and processing of all documentation. Provide a professional, courteous presence when interacting with the public. Address inquiries and concerns promptly, maintaining a positive customer service attitude. Communicate security policies and procedures to visitors and assist when needed. Conduct regular patrols to deter unauthorised access and monitor for security breaches. Remain vigilant for potential security threats or safety hazards during patrols. Take appropriate action to address issues, including contacting authorities if necessary. Control access by verifying the identity of visitors and contractors. Monitor access points and respond to alarms or security breaches.
