Children's Residential Support Worker

Contract: Part time OR Full time

Shifts: 12-hour shifts (days or nights)

Pay rate: From £13.50+ an hour (with additional holiday)

MUST be a driver with access to your own vehicle AND have residential experience with children who display EBD.

Brook Street Social Care have an exciting opportunity for experienced Children's Residential Support Workers to join an expanding team and work in residential children's services across Cardiff.

Permanent opportunities also available due to expansion is available with potential to progress with your career.

You will be working as part of a staff team to deliver quality care and support to vulnerable children and young people with emotional and behavioural issues. You will be a positive role model and will encourage children to grow and develop both personally and academically and with any extracurricular activities outside of school. In addition to this, you will have previous experience working with challenging behaviours.

All required training will be provided to you, and you will have opportunities to complete extra qualifications to progress in your career working with children. Ideally you will have a level 3 in Children and Young People however this is not essential.
