About the Role:
As an IT and Computing Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and innovative lessons across key stages 3 and 4, helping students develop essential skills in technology, computing, and problem-solving. You will work closely with a supportive team of educators who are committed to providing an inspiring learning experience for all students.
Key Responsibilities:
* Delivering high-quality lessons in IT and Computing to students in KS3 and KS4
* Planning and preparing engaging lessons and resources that meet the needs of all students
* Providing feedback on student progress and supporting their development
* Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
* Supporting the wider school community and participating in extracurricular activities
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in IT, Computing, or a related field
* Strong subject knowledge and passion for IT and Computing
* Experience teaching across KS3 and KS4 is desirable, though NQTs are welcome to apply
* Ability to engage and inspire students, fostering a love of learning
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* A team player who works well within a collaborative environment
