We are currently recruiting for a history teacher to join our team on a full-time basis in April for our partner school located in Oldham.
We are a popular co-educational secondary school in Oldham who are constantly oversubscribed and have a most recent Ofsted rating of ‘good’.
We are looking for an enthusiastic teacher to join our current team of 4 in the History department, where you will closely with those in other areas of humanities. Experience teaching to other areas would be highly desirable, however not a necessity. We are open to applications from both well experienced history teachers and ECT’s.
The Ideal Candidate
* Hold QTS
* Previous experience teaching history to KS3/4
* Good grasp of the current curriculum
* Excellent behaviour management skills
* Experience teaching other areas of humanities such as Geography or RE (Desirable)
* Has a child-only DBS registered on the update service
