Ty Trosiad is one of our Supported Accommodation services which offer a housing solution for individuals who are homeless and have complex needs. Our 10-bed Supported Housing Service promotes independent living with the aim for each person we support to have a positive move on into their own tenancy. However, this service provides more than just housing related support with the length of stay determined by the needs of each individual we support. What is great about the role? Ty Trosiad is a hostel for people with long term, complex needs and here we support people with mental health issues, substance misuse and a history of not coping with managing their own tenancy. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking for a rewarding role where you would be providing housing related support through teaching tenancy management skills, supporting with benefit applications and queries, and helping set up a new tenancy ready for a positive move on. You will also have the opportunity to work with a variety of agencies, learn new skills and see the positive impact you can have on the people we support. Day to Day Duties: Engaging and interacting with our Clients Writing and following a support plan with the individual you are supporting Completing risk assessments and risk management plans Delivering workshops relating to tenancy management and health and wellbeing Liaising with external agencies Addressing any additional needs, the people we support might have Our aim is to ensure we equip these individuals with the knowledge and tools they need to live independently. This is a challenging role and you will be faced with complex behaviours and needs, including alcohol misuse, mental health, substance misuse and physical disabilities. You will work with a range of different personalities and behaviours so you will need to be able to adapt your approach to engage with a diverse cliental. Pobl Pay & Benefits Competitive Salary of £25,486.00 £51.11 for each sleep-in Full-time (37), Permanent position Shift Pattern: The service is covered 24/7. Typical work pattern consist of days, afternoons, some weekend shifts and sleep-ins This role requires an Enhanced DBS check, which we pay for 26 days (pro rata) holiday entitlement plus Bank holidays Pension scheme Sick Pay Bespoke learning pathway with the support from an experienced Learning and Development team Internal Progression Wellbeing and psychological support Time for Talk service 45p per mile Interviews will take place Tuesday 12 th February 2025.
