Field-based Door-to-Door Fundraising Manager - Locations open to Kent, Berkshire, Lancashire, Sussex, Surrey, Essex, Hertfordshire, Exeter, Newcastle, Cumbria - £30,000 - £32,000 plus bonus. (OTE £7k)
Establishing a new regional door-to-door fundraising operation in the designated area from the ground up. Day-to-day management, coaching, and leading of door-to-door fundraising teams, area management and associated administrative tasks to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the regional fundraising activity.
Reporting to: Campaign Manager
The Door-to-Door Fundraising Manager will effectively lead, train and manage local fundraising teams (defined by geographical location and population volume), to conduct door-to-door fundraising activities for our charity partners.
Ensure that all long-term targets are achieved in-line with the fundraising campaigns plan
Key Responsibilities:
1. Establishing a new door-to-door fundraising operation in the designated region.
2. Take the lead on the implementation of door-to-door supporter recruitment strategy with a focus on donor quality and longevity.
3. Ensure that the fundraising targets are achieved in the designated areas.
4. Maintain strong focus on adding value into the business and helping the campaign grow nationally.
5. Ensure that the cancellation rate for debited supporters recruited does not exceed 10% above the national average.
6. Effectively lead, motivate and manage teams within area of responsibility in accordance with HR policies and Staff Handbook.
7. Achieve an average annual donation above £120 within the designated cluster.
8. Managing and tracking fundraising areas to ensure good quality supporters and efficient use of territory.
9. Attend and actively contribute to skill-sharing activities at company events and meetings as and when required.
10. Conduct New Starter Training and Assessment Sessions as and when required, in line with HR policies, sector regulatory standards, company values and ethical standards.
11. Effectively train and develop the team/s within designated region to ensure average weekly performance targets are achieved.
12. Train, coach and further develop all fundraisers, talent spot for team leaders and actively promote an environment that fosters and enhances personal development.
13. Develop and maintain campaign strategy to store, maintain and manage company equipment, uniform, paperwork and other paraphernalia; thus ensuring that all said items are accounted for at all times.
14. Investigate fully any loss or damage to company property and communicate without ambiguity any deductions or charges to be made.
15. Monitor the use and driving of company vehicle/s to reduce accidents, damage and any event that may render our insurance invalid.
16. Ensure that high health and safety standards are maintained, and that all contractors and employed staff adhere to company policy and personal safety guidelines at all times i.e. the proper maintenance of company vehicles, policies regarding entry to supporters' homes etc.
