Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Workshop Manager to oversee the daily operations of our busy automotive workshop. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of automotive repair processes, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of customer service and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Management: Supervise and lead a team of vehicle technicians, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality workmanship.
Work Allocation: Assign tasks to technicians based on their skill levels and the complexity of each job, ensuring optimal use of resources.
Quality Control: Monitor repair and maintenance activities to ensure all work meets company standards and customer expectations.
Customer Service: Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly, providing accurate information and solutions to maintain high levels of satisfaction.
Safety Compliance: Ensure all health and safety regulations are adhered to, maintaining a safe and organized workshop environment.
Inventory Management: Oversee the ordering and stock levels of parts and equipment, ensuring availability for scheduled work without overstocking.
Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate records of work completed, parts used, and customer interactions.
Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process improvements and implement strategies to enhance workshop efficiency and service quality.Qualifications:
Proven experience in a workshop management or supervisory role within the automotive industry.
Strong technical background with hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance and repair.
Excellent leadership and team-building skills.
Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Proficiency in using automotive diagnostic equipment and software.
