SAP Techno-Functional Consultant
Location: RG7 4PR, located between Reading and Basingstoke, with free onsite parking.
Package: £38,350 - £50,000 (depending on your suitability, qualifications, and level of experience)
Working pattern: AWE operates a 9-day working fortnight.
Let us introduce the role
AWE is currently recruiting for a SAP Techno-Functional Consultant for the Enterprise Applications group.
The Role:
1. Collaborate with other members of the SAP and non-SAP teams on cross-functional solutions.
2. Undertake analysis of business requirements, working with customers to prepare solution designs and specifications for self and others to meet customer requirements.
3. Design and build software and software modifications to meet business requirements using agreed standards and tools to achieve a well-engineered result.
4. Provide technical third line support for supported applications and services.
5. Ensure configuration and change is managed and controlled throughout software development lifecycle.
6. Produce required documentation to support all phases of the system development process.
7. Maintain local software quality documentation to ensure TS800 standards are met.
Who are we looking for?
We do need you to have the following:
1. End to end understanding of the manufacturing process.
2. Excellent skills in managing vendors, third party organisations and services.
3. Analyse business requirements and processes.
4. Experience in SAP systems or other ERPs.
Whilst not to be considered a tick list, we'd like you to have experience in some of the following:
1. Knowledge and experience with SLA's, OLA's, and Contracts in insourced or outsourced environments.
2. Strong acumen to understand the business needs and ability to manage services in a very dynamic environment.
3. Provide ongoing maintenance and support for existing SAP solutions.
4. Develop functional and technical specifications for the SAP projects.
5. Using SAP to support industry standard and best practice business processes.
6. Design, develop and configure SAP solutions.
7. Manage and support SAP projects.
8. Test and document SAP configurations.
9. Provide technical guidance and training to end-users.
You'll need to have the ability to work calmly and constructively in a priority changing environment and be able to manage your own workload. You will also have initiative, enthusiasm, a flexible approach, and ability to work to tight deadlines.

Hybrid working is available for this role on an informal, non-contractual basis. Typically 4 days onsite per week.
