* Work under the direction of the class teacher and Academy SENCO.
* Support the children on a personalised plan within a mainstream infant class.
* Deliver specific interventions as directed in an EHCP.
* Adapt planning and create resources to meet the children's individual needs.
* Communicate positively and regularly with parents.
* Attend meetings with parents and professionals, where relevant, and support the children in reaching the targets set out on the children's Education, Health and Care Plan and SEN Support Plan.
* Deliver intervention support for individuals or small groups of children.
A qualified, caring, committed Teaching Assistant is required to work as part of a team with pupils with Education Health Care Plans., Enjoy working with children and want to make a difference.
* Be keen to learn and welcome continued professional development.
* Be organised and able to adapt planning, through daily assessment, to meet individual needs.
* Have relevant school-based experience, particularly working with children with additional needs., Working knowledge of the EYFS and Key Stage 1 Curriculum.
* Understanding of child development.
* Experience of working with children with Special Educational Needs.
* A Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) is desirable.
