Are you an experienced leader with a strong background in service delivery, product management, and stakeholder engagement? Practicus have partnered with the City of London Police in the search for a Director of Enabling Services to drive forward the National Fraud & Cyber Crime Reporting and Analysis service, ensuring its efficiency, growth, and continuous improvement.
The City of London Police is the designated National Lead Force for fraud and cyber-crime and is responsible for Action Fraud, the national fraud and cyber crime reporting service which also incorporates the National Fraud Intelligence Bureau (NFIB) and National Economic Care Victim Care Unit (NECVCU). The City of London Police’s mission is to protect the public by preventing and disrupting fraud and cyber-crime through capable, coordinated, and effective policing.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as a strategic partner to the Service Delivery Director, leading high-impact programmes across Commercial, IT, Finance, and Operations.
* Oversee service delivery, performance, governance, and quality assurance.
* Develop and manage product and supply chain functions, ensuring resources, reporting, and technical assets align with strategic goals.
* Lead on the design, procurement, and implementation of the next-generation fraud and cyber crime reporting system.
* Collaborate with senior government, law enforcement, and industry partners to drive innovation and excellence.
* Ensure commercial contracts deliver maximum value and oversee continuous service improvement.
* Represent the organisation in external forums, media engagements, and key governance meetings.
What We’re Looking For
* Proven leadership experience in programme, product, or service management within law enforcement, government, or a similar regulated sector.
* Strategic thinker with strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Commercial acumen with a track record of supplier management, contract negotiation, and performance monitoring.
* Technical knowledge of IT systems, data analytics, and digital transformation.
* Experience in governance, risk management, and financial oversight.
* Excellent communication and relationship management skills at executive and operational levels.
