Your role
Your mission is to focus on the environmental dimensions of sustainability, aligning with one of the guiding principles of the Scientific Vacuum Division: "Just minimizing harm is not enough; the goal is to achieve net positive impact." You will develop an environmental sustainability strategy to bring a net positive environmental impact. You will report to the Vice President Engineering.
As Environmental Sustainability Programme Manager,
* You will develop and implement an environmental sustainability strategy for the Scientific Vacuum Division and generate inclusion and understanding across Divisional teams.
* You will help each divisional function identify and align their environmental sustainability commitments.
* You will support the divisional functions with project identification, analysis, justification, impact assessment, business case, and project approval.
* You will maintain the road map to net positive, generating, and reporting on indicators.
* You will help ensure that our product developments reflect the market trends and changes.
* You will share ideas, knowledge, and best practices.

* You have multiple years of experience in strategy development and have worked with senior level management, preferably on environmental sustainability topics.
* You hold a bachelor's degree in a technical field, environmental studies, business administration or comparable.
* You have a proven track record in project control and delivery.
* You like to take on a mission and work with others to develop it, gain commitment and sponsorship for, and then communicate and lead the implementation of the vision.
* You can assess and if required challenge the viability and robustness of project plans: project cost, risks, impact.
* Cross-cultural appreciation and understanding.
* You are open to travel.
* You are fluent in English.

We are a global team working in a hybrid model. We have offices in Germany, Czech Republic, UK and China. This role will be based in Lutin (Czech Republic), Burgess Hill (UK) or Cologne (Germany). #Li-hybrid
