Your role
As the Assistant Pharmacy Manager, you’ll be a pivotal part of our mission to deliver pharmacy products and nursing care directly to patients’ homes. You’ll lead a team responsible for ensuring efficient, safe, and compliant delivery of medicines and services, while continually seeking ways to enhance patient care. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to make a tangible difference in people’s lives by supporting the seamless integration of pharmacy services into homecare.
Your duties & responsibilities
Lead a High-Performing Team : Manage and mentor Pharmacy Dispensing Assistants, Shift Leads, and Admin Assistants, ensuring they deliver exceptional service to patients in their homes.
Drive Excellence in Homecare : Oversee the daily coordination of homecare pharmacy services, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of medications, as well as nurse-administered care.
Ensure Seamless Operations : Work closely with logistics partners to schedule deliveries, oversee stock management, and manage patient care logistics.
Innovate and Improve : Collaborate with the Pharmacy Manager to explore ways to optimize processes through automation, improving efficiency and reducing costs.
Compliance & Quality Control : Ensure adherence to regulations, including GDPR and the Human Medicines Regulations, while maintaining the highest standards of patient confidentiality and safety.
Collaborate Across Teams : Liaise with nurses, clinical teams, and other departments to ensure the smooth delivery of pharmacy and nursing services to patients’ homes.

Benefits
* Annual salary: £32,000
* Annual leave of 25 days + bank holidays (increasing to 27 days after 3 years’ service)
* Annual company bonus scheme (subject to scheme eligibility)
* Pension - you will be auto-enrolled after 3 months of employment at 5% (with an employer contribution of 4%). You can also opt to increase your contribution to 6% to which the employer will contribute 8%.
* Life assurance 10 x salary with a max of £300,000
