What an opportunity!
If you are a degree qualified electrically bias HV engineer (11kv) with experience across highly hazardous environments and you’re looking for a staff opportunity with a package worth roughly £100k, then look no further!
Not only will you be a part of a global manufacturer, but you will be involved in the production of a product that is only made on this site in the UK. With production ramping up and certain targets to be met, you will head up the EC&I team and be the focal point of technical queries. You will also have the opportunity to train and develop 1 engineer to be your supporting engineer. This site has a list of long serving personnel and having met with the Senior Engineering Team, I can see why. They’re easy to get on with, they have realistic expectations and offer support from day one. In addition, they’re just nice people which always makes the day job 10x easier. There is also a clear succession route to becomes Site Manager, if that is something that interests you.
Admittedly, they are looking for a specialist. Electrical HV distribution is the sites priority, but ideally, they also need someone with hardware controls experience and Instrumentation / safety systems knowledge (SIL). The main function of the role is maintenance, but you will also get the opportunity to carry out small projects from design through to commissioning. You will also be responsible for HV maintenance, signing off documentation, specifications, procurement and more.
No 2 days will be the same meaning you will have plenty of variety.
