About the Role: Our site at Rogerstone is the biggest in our Meal Solutions division, employing around 1,600 people. It is an impressive, fast-paced facility and is where we develop and produce a vast range of ready meals for major retailers. We’re now looking for a Raw Materials Coordinator to join our busy, supportive Technical team. Reporting to the Raw Materials Manager, the role will be largely factory based and your key responsibilities will include: Leading a team of Goods-In Quality Auditors, working to ensure materials and ingredients coming into the site meet the required standards and specifications. Developing strong relationships with the operational teams to identify and resolve and issues. Training and upskilling your team to develop their expertise and raw materials knowledge. Resolving any raw materials issues and non-conformance with suppliers to drive improvements. About You: This is an ideal role for somebody looking to join a leading food manufacturer offering plenty of opportunities for development and progression and we’re keen to hear from anybody with the following skills and experience: Experience of leading/supervising teams in a food manufacturing environment Chilled foods, protein, or produce experience would be ideal. Understanding and experience of goods-intake activities and material specifications. Proactive approach, keen to look for new and improved ways of working. Strong leadership skills, able to lead from the front and by example. Level 3 HACCP and Food Safety qualifications.
