This role will provide support to both entities that share office space in London. Main accountabilities: We are seeking an experienced desktop support analyst to assist with a major office move from an IT perspective, whilst providing ongoing support to the London office prior to and following the move. This will include hardware refresh topics. Main responsibilities: Leading the rollout of 200 new laptops regarding imaging deployment, software installation and any associated troubleshooting, as well as ad hoc tasks as needed Provide 2nd level support for all desktop issues and executive team support; and advanced troubleshooting across all relevant IT verticals (end user hardware, mobility, desktop applications, printing/scanning, network fundamentals, updates, and patching, etc.) Deploy computers, laptops, printers, mobile phones etc. and the associated technology behind those devices (OS imaging, application installation, Mobile Device Management, security hardening, etc.) Maintain accurate documentation specifically for hardware stock and disposals Performing daily/monthly/annual IT routine tasks i.e., validating security controls, reviewing log management system, anti-virus etc Support where required with On/Off boarding end-users following company policy and procedures Maintaining company hardware and software assets Ensuring all new hardware has been fully set up with engineering applications and fully tested prior to roll out Liaising with users to book appointment times to handover devices and keeping an up to date stock & disposal count/inventory at all times Supporting all desktop support activities related to T.EN & Genesis London refresh, new hire and office move project Providing VIP and client facing AV support on site as well as assisting with daily operational support L2 tasks where required/instructed by management Ensuring that all services provided are delivered professionally, timely and efficiently Background and experience required: Experience working in a 2 nd Level IT support role within a large corporate organisation in addition to recent experience of a hardware rollout directly to end users including image deployment, software installation and any associated troubleshooting. Experience in a direct customer facing support role is required. Exposure to the below technologies would be advantageous.
