Infrastructure Engineers - Network, Storage, Windows (DV Security Clearance)
Position Description
We are currently looking for experienced Infrastructure Engineers with expertise in network, storage, or Windows to join our team. Being able to think outside of the box to overcome technical challenges is essential. Due to the nature of the role, all applicants must be single UK nationals and hold active HMG HLC Clearance.
Your future duties and responsibilities
1. Design, implement, and manage complex network architectures, including LAN, WAN, and cloud-based systems.
2. Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize network resources to ensure high availability and security.
3. Configure and maintain firewalls, routers, switches, and VPNs in compliance with security policies.
4. Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of storage solutions, including SAN, NAS, and backup systems.
5. Ensure data integrity, availability, and security through regular backups, disaster recovery planning, and storage optimization.
6. Implement and manage storage policies, quotas, and replication to ensure efficient and secure data management.
7. Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and other core services.
8. Perform regular patch management, software updates, and system upgrades to maintain security and performance standards.
9. Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls in accordance with organizational security policies.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
1. Proven experience in one or more areas of infrastructure management: network, storage, or Windows Server.
2. Ability to think outside the box and solve complex technical challenges.
