Our client is looking for a Senior Personnel Recruitment Officer for a permanent position, located in Aberdeen.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Mentor and lead the Recruitment Team in day-to-day recruitment activities, providing guidance and ensuring best practices in recruitment.
2. Ensure compliance with established Recruitment procedures, company policies and relevant employment legislation.
3. Lead and co-ordinate recruitment vacancies and future recruitment requirements for the company.
4. Review and process CVs on a daily basis.
5. Complete internal and external interviews followed by end-to-end recruitment cycle, ensuring that relevant approvals and necessary documentation are obtained and recorded.
6. Provide support by advising Heads of Department and Rig Managers on best practice for recruitment and selection.
7. Ensure all internal employing companies and external 3rd party personnel providers adhere to Maritime Labour Convention. Collate, audit and record required certification annually.
8. Ensure all 3rd party personnel providers hold valid personnel services agreement and required insurance documentation. Collate, audit and record required certification annually.
9. Review and ensure implementation of future succession planning ahead of commencing external recruitment.
10. Continuously review methods used for sourcing external applicants. Ensure continuous development and maintenance of vacancy advertising, utilising applicable channels as well as social media.
11. Maintain and develop a solid application database of both existing applicants for current and future vacancies.
12. Continually review, analyse and report on labour market conditions, trends and skills shortages.
13. Promote and implement the Company's digitalisation and automation objectives as it relates to recruitment process, procedures and software.
14. Preparation and regular revision of Job Descriptions for both onshore and offshore employees.
15. Review and approve all contracts of employment ahead of issuance to the employer and employee.
16. Responsible for control of the Preferred Supplier List for recruitment agency use.
17. Prepare weekly recruitment reports for Chief HR Officer.
18. Any other duties as required by Chief HR Officer.
REQUIREMENTS:
Essential
1. High School Education
2. Knowledge of UK/International Employment Legislation and Regulations.
3. Suitable Recruitment experience at a senior level.
4. Previous experience of recruiting for all levels of drilling disciplines.
5. Proactive, adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced work environment.
6. Self-motivated and ability to motivate others.
7. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Desirable
1. HR or Recruitment Qualification.
2. Member of professional HR Institute.
