Job Description for Pharmacy Dispenser
Hourly Rate: £12.69 and up to £14.05 across selected locations within London.

What you’ll be doing day to day
Providing health advice through focused conversations with patients, ensuring clear and accurate answers.
Your duties will include:
1. Tailoring conversations to ensure customers leave feeling informed and confident about their healthcare needs.
2. Handling technical dispensary tasks such as ordering medicines, labelling, dispensing, endorsing, and collecting prescriptions.
3. Ensuring compliance with legal, professional, and company guidelines.
4. Engaging with GPs and practice teams to promote services and products.
5. Ensuring efficient dispensary operations and minimizing dispensing losses.
What you’ll need to have
We offer an exciting career opportunity requiring an NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Pharmacy Services, with previous experience as a Pharmacy Dispenser preferred.
You should have completed or be willing to complete a Medicines Counter Assistant (NVQ2) qualification or equivalent within 6 months of joining. We also support progression towards NVQ Level 3 (QCF) in Pharmacy Services, leading to eligibility for registration with GPHC as a Pharmacy Technician and potential advancement to an Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician role.
