An opportunity has arisen to join the Renal Team in NHS Fife. This is a dual role and will predominately be based within the Renal service at Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy. The successful candidate will be expected to coordinate holiday dialysis for patients wishing to travel either within the UK or abroad and support the renal team by carrying out general, administrative and housekeeping duties to ensure smooth running of the unit. They should be able to work under their own initiative and deal with an environment that is constantly changing. We are looking for someone who is caring, an excellent communicator and possess good organisational and IT skills. You will be based in the Renal Unit, but may also be required to carry out duties within the Renal Service. Hours of work are currently 08 00 15.00 or 12.00 19.00 Monday to Friday, but this can be subject to review and the ability to be flexible is essential. If successful in your application, you will be offered the opportunity to undertake an SVQ2 or SVQ3 (dependent on band) in Health and Social Care, approximately 9 months after taking up post.
