Directly reporting to the Lead Occupational Therapist, the post holder will work as part of the multi-disciplinary team who treat and care for patients requiring the level of security that can be maintained within a medium secure unit. The post holder will be responsible for ensuring the safety of patients whilst exercising by ensuring correct and safe exercise techniques whilst in the gym and within groups. The role requires excellent written and verbal communication skills to accurately document within the electronic medical notes the progress of patients, provide comprehensive verbal updates to other professionals within the clinical team and facilitate sports/exercise groups either on site or in the community.
