Penarlag Wrap Around Care and Holiday club Committee would like to appoint a Playworker. The Playworker role is to ensure that a safe, secure and happy environment is provided for all children in Penarlag Wrap Around Care Provision - which includes Before and After school club, Nursery Plus/Flying Start and Holiday Club.
Applicants:
• Hold a qualification in Childcare, or Play work. Or be willing to work towards this qualification.
• DBS check
• Be a qualified first aider or willing to undertake training
• Be willing to attend training e.g. safeguarding, food hygiene
• Help input ideas towards future activities
• Reliable, outgoing and flexible person
• Work well within a team and under pressure
• Have experience of working with children aged 3-12 years
Salary: £11.44 per hour.
Hours per week: flexible
Term time hours: Monday – Friday
Before school club: 7.45am – 9am
Flying Start/Nursery plus: 11.15am – 3pm
After school club: 2.45pm – 5.30pm
