Advanced Recovery Practitioner - Hinckley
Job Introduction
We are currently recruiting for an Advanced Recovery Practitioner to work in our Hinckley branch in Leicestershire. For this role, you will have either significant experience in providing substance use services or a related field in health, social care, or criminal justice services and/or a relevant qualification such as social work or nursing. You will hold a defined caseload of service users with multiple needs and have, or be willing to develop, a specialism within the team. You will provide learning opportunities and act as a point of expertise within your team, sometimes leading multi-disciplinary discussions to support planning, and be capable of representing the service in external meetings to improve pathways with partner agencies. While not a line management position, Advanced Recovery Practitioners will form part of the leadership of the team and be key to supporting specific clients with complex needs and workers, particularly those new to the field.
As an Advanced Recovery Practitioner, we offer a starting salary of £28,392 with annual pay progression up to £33,215 (Dependent on experience you may be offered a starting salary above the initial starting salary).

Role Responsibility
* Supervision of no more than 2 Recovery Workers, providing one-to-one support to help them develop their practice and support them with day-to-day challenges.
* Completing a generic audit of a Recovery Worker case every month and discussing the outcomes in supervisions, highlighting both good practice and areas for development.
* Case management of several of the most complex cases, with the number varying depending on complexity and other responsibilities.
* Building and maintaining positive relationships with partnering agencies, being the first point of contact for any difficulties.
* Participating in weekly MDTs to support other Recovery Workers and take guidance on treatment plans for service users.
* Deputising for the Team Leader in their absence, such as during annual leave or conflicting commitments.
* Engaging in training and development opportunities as they arise to develop and maintain leadership skills.
* Chairing MDTs in the absence of the Team Leader and chairing multi-agency meetings when necessary.
* Escalating any safeguarding concerns raised by Recovery Workers.
* Engaging in SALS meetings and discussing cases as required.
