The role of the Social Manager, Good Housekeeping, is key in helping to accelerate the growth of audiences on non-owned platforms across the Good Housekeeping portfolio. As a part of the central digital editorial team, you will oversee all social output for Good Housekeeping, driving engagement and growth across all platforms, helping to set, implement and monitor a multi-platform strategy that delivers traffic, inspires engagement, drives revenue and builds brand affinity with the core audience off-site, on social and integrated platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, YouTube, Pinterest, X and TikTok. About The Role Oversee all social media output across Facebook, X, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Snapchat, Pinterest and other platforms for Good Housekeeping, as well as new emerging platforms, in order to deliver engagement, traffic and commercial revenue Create engaging social video, manage the workflow around social video being delivered by the wider editorial teams, and help support them with video best practise and training Ensure we are an industry leader in social content amongst our competitors Use tools such as Dash Hudson, True Anthem and Google Analytics to provide actionable insights to help shape the brands’ content strategies Help set, implement and monitor the brand’s social media strategies, focusing on engagement, referral traffic and audience. Deliver monthly and ad-hoc reporting to brand Editor-in-Chief around social and video performance, including special or new projects. Establish and lead clear tone of voice style for brands’ social media platforms, as well as delivering and improving aspirations in terms of diversity for visuals, content output, and contributors Support Editor-in-Chief and senior team on new launches, and necessary strategic development Help drive creativity and innovation across the portfolio, using witty, imaginative concepts, formats and franchises that are full of tone to connect with our audiences.
