Do you have a genuine passion for making a difference?Then, you may be the ideal candidate for this role!We are seeking to appoint a caring and passionate Learning Support Assistant to join the supportive staff team at one of our Primary Schools based in Leeds, LS16.You will play an important role as part of the SEN support team, enabling suitable intervention, adaptation of learning and a supportive atmosphere for pupils with a range of needs from EYFS-KS2. The position is available with immediate start for the right applicant.The Primary School caters for pupils aged 3-11 years, offering a warm and caring environment for learning. You will be responsible for supporting pupils in the mainstream classroom and outside the classroom in small groups under the direction of the Class Teacher. You will work as part of the staff team to ensure the delivery of stimulating and challenging intervention and support for pupils with a range of learning needs.Previous experience supporting pupils with complex physical and medical needs or SEMH is desirable, although not essential. Due to the nature of the role, applicants should have a calm, consistent and nurturing approach.You can expect to earn up to £100 per day for this role depending on experience.We are seeking an LSA with:
* A full and relevant Teaching Assistant/SEN qualification or equivalent.
* A kind, caring and consistent approach.
* Confidence, inclusivity, and passion for supporting SEN pupil progression.
* Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the UK Curriculum.
* An enhanced DBS disclosure or be willing to obtain one through us.
* Right to Work in the UK, unfortunately we are unable to offer Visa Sponsorship.
