RSK ADAS is seeking a Project Administrator to join our team on a full time, permanent basis out of our Cambridge office (with the potential to move to hybrid working following probationary period).
You will work within the Sustainable Agricultural Systems Team providing a range of financial and project administration support for Project Managers, alongside assisting with the improvement of business processes and the application of financial controls on projects.
Key responsibilities:
1. Assist Project Managers to maintain accurate project data, provide quality control, advice and guidance for Project Managers on the upkeep of their project data, processing project data amendments and providing project administration support
2. Assist Project Managers to register new tenders and projects and provide quality control of the documentation provided by the client
3. To provide financial and project administration support for Project Managers to assist with forecast monitoring and to improve project profitability
4. Provide financial support to Projects Managers by collating and presenting project data/reports
5. Seek approval from Project Managers for the raising and issuing of sales invoices to clients, checking that invoices are issued correctly including complex multi-currency projects and chasing up Project Managers on overdue and due invoices ensuring as many invoices are issued as possible prior to the monthly deadline
6. Assist with identification of projects causing concern and highlighting project profit erosion.
7. Assist with the improvement of business processes and the application of financial controls for all projects on the financial system
Person specification:
8. Knowledge and experience of, and confidence in, working with business management information systems
9. Previous internal purchasing/project administration experience would be desirable
10. Good data accuracy and attention to detail with a good level of numeracy and IT skills
11. High-level keyboard and computing skills using MS Word, Excel and Access
12. Well organised and efficient with confident and professional communication skills
13. Self-motivated and capable of working without supervision
