Job Role: The Grounds Maintenance and Project Support Supervisor is a hybrid position that combines responsibilities for supervising the team of proving ground maintenance staff and providing project support coordination. In this role, the person will deliver all aspects of grounds maintenance supervisory responsibilities and requirements to efficiently run the grounds team, this would include overseeing the general upkeep of the proving ground, manage effective use of grounds equipment to ensure circuits are graded, maintained, repaired and safe for all users, process creation and updates, RAs, PUWER and safe working practices. Additionally, the person will work closely with the project lead on small to medium-sized projects, with guidance coordinating schedules, resources, and assisting with the smooth delivery of project milestones. Key Responsibilities: Grounds Maintenance Supervision: Lead a team of grounds maintenance workers to maintain and repair proving ground facilities, including grading circuits, landscaping, and other essential grounds keeping tasks. Conduct regular inspections to ensure all areas meet safety and performance standards. Schedule routine maintenance and emergency repairs as necessary. Supervise all aspects of team welfare, work schedules, equipment hire, ensure process and review efficiency. Project Support Coordination: Assist the project lead with planning, coordinating, and managing small to medium-sized projects related to the proving ground. Track project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, providing regular updates to stakeholders. Coordinate with team members and vendors to ensure timely completion of project milestones.
