About the Role
Core Responsibilities:
* Project Management: Full responsibility for the planning and execution of technical operations. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet high safety and quality standards.
* Contract Management: Adhere to NEC contract forms, ensuring projects are delivered as per the terms and conditions agreed upon, capturing all variations, and negotiating favourable payment terms.
* Risk Management: Actively manage risks associated with commercial, operational, environmental, and safety aspects.
* Client Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, assisting with tendering processes and securing new business.
* Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Project Management Team to meet client needs and expand business opportunities.
* Technical Skills: Proficiency in engineering software packages such as AutoCAD, Inventor, or Navisworks is essential.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
* Essential:
* Bachelor’s degree in an engineering-related subject.
* Minimum of 5 years' experience in operational, commercial, and technical delivery of heavy lift logistics and installations.
* Proficiency in project management processes and Microsoft Office packages.
* Strong communication skills and team-oriented approach.
* Current valid driving license and ability to pass security vetting for projects of national importance in the UK.
* Desirable:
* Master’s degree or higher in an engineering-related subject.
* Flexible and willing to work from various site offices, including on-site project locations as needed.
