TheRole
We are looking for a SalesReceptionist to play a critical role in providing a firstclassexperience to members prospective members and visitors to ourhealth club. You must have the experience energy and enthusiasm toassist in the management of daytoday operations. You will beresponsible for assisting the General Manager in the generalrunning of all aspects of the club with specific emphasis on thesale of new memberships and ensuring all members are having a greatexperience whilst members of the club.
This is aparttime position with scope for growth to fulltime and isavailable for a start in July 2023. Shifts will be based onrequirements of the club would be looking for someone flexible towork evenings and weekends.
Yourdaily focus willinvolve:
* Growing apipeline of new prospects drive new membership sales and retainexisting members
* Create an excellent firstimpression of the gym by providing a warm welcome tidy appearanceand pleasant manner at all times
* Provideexceptional customer service experience to all members andguests
* Greet members and users of the gym asthey come through reception
* Check in memberswhere required and verify membershipdetails
* Register prospective members and guidethem to the correct person
* Enrol new membersand assist current members with theirqueries
* Provide information on classes andavailability
* Handle questions about renewal andcancellation of memberships
* Ensure the safetyand security of members guests and staff at alltimes
* Handle telephone enquiries and supportthe Gym Manager with member retentioncalls
* Record and keep clear and accuraterecords of all queries complaints lost property and repairs andensure the information is delegated to and resolved by relevantstaff
* Strong process driven focus on ensuringthe day to day tasks in the gym are completed emails are answeredand phone calls are acted upon
* Undertake otherduties such as keeping on top of cleaning dutiesetc
