The Role
The Content Manager is responsible for the delivery of high-quality content to deadlines. They work with the Managing Editor and Deputy Editor to understand the content requirements for brands and brief, commission, and edit content from in-house writers and freelancers.
The Content Manager is in charge of content operations and ensures all content is delivered to the deadline. They are also responsible for the quality of content delivered and feedback to Writers, Deputy Editors and Editors on performance strengths and weaknesses.
The Content Manager is also responsible for the management and acquisition of high-quality freelancers who can deliver on the requirements of the brand.
Our Team
The Brands team is responsible for growing the organic traffic of brands such as The Eco Experts, Expert Market, Startups, Tech.co and Website Builder Expert.
The department consists of:
* Content team - responsible for creating and delivering a high-quality content strategy that meets organic traffic and conversion targets, and delivers a trusted and unique brand experience.
* Audience team - responsible for delivering audience development strategies that grow the reach and visibility of MVF’s brands. The team comprises SEO and Campaigns (link acquisition) teams.
* The Insight team - responsible for conducting in-depth research into key subject areas and target audiences, with the aim of building brand authority and trustworthiness as well as key client relationships.
Responsibilities:
1. Management of the content delivery for two brands
2. Briefing, commissioning, and editing content.
3. Delivery and quality performance tracking.
4. Ensure brand guidelines, style, and tone of voice are consistently applied across articles.
5. Ensure all content demonstrates subject matter expertise.
