Position: Full-Time SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Barking and Dagenham
Salary: £100-110 per day
We are excited present an exceptional opportunity for a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant at a ASD school in Barking and Dagenham. We are seeking a dedicated individual with a passion for supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), especially those facing behavioural, social, and emotional challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide targeted support to students with SEN, including those with SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs.
* Implement tailored strategies to address individual Education, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP) objectives.
* Facilitate differentiated learning to support diverse abilities, helping students to access the curriculum in a way that meets their needs.
* Support a nurturing and structured environment, promoting positive behaviour management and emotional regulation techniques.
* Work collaboratively with SENCOs (Special Educational Needs Coordinators), class teachers, and other support staff to enhance individual learning outcomes.
* Deliver 1:1 and small-group interventions aimed at improving both academic and emotional resilience.
