As a key member of the Mitie team, you will play a vital role in supporting our Design, Project and Delivery management teams across all phases of the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide commercial support and risk management to project workstreams, ensuring optimal performance vs budget while maintaining Rock's industry-leading reputation for service with clients.
* Analyse and control commercial progress of projects, working closely with the project delivery team to ensure timely completion and cost-effectiveness.
* Negotiate final accounts with clients, manage variations, and prepare internal reports such as cashflow forecasts and project performance reviews.
A fine balance between commerciality and stakeholder management is required, ensuring effective collaboration with clients and internal stakeholders. You will monitor projected project costs/margin and support the mitigation of associated risks.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying or equivalent.
* Minimum 3 years' experience working as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably in the energy sector.
* Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills, with experience in managing projects commercially and administering contracts.
