You'll be working Monday to Friday, 22:00-06:00 and will be paid £23,400 our nightshift premiums of £4290. Purpose of the role To control assigned day to day activities within the warehouse including receipt and checking of products, issue and dispatch of products on to van for delivery. This position will also carry out additional duties as instructed by Shift Managers or Operations Manager. To ensure that all areas of operational responsibility comply with all Company, legal, environmental, ISO, security and Health and Safety procedures and standards. To ensure all documentation is completed accurately and returned promptly to the Team Leader Key Responsibilities Operate to Company procedures and guidelines, and ensure that performance standards are met Receive, check and locate products in compliance to procedures and instructions Adhere to work instructions Suggest and contribute to any improvement initiatives Assume responsibility for functions specified by the Depot Centre Manager/Supervisor Ensure that all documentation pertinent to the function are forwarded to the relevant department Notify the Depot Centre Manager/Supervisor of deviations to procedures Maintain a high standard of housekeeping Complete the daily mechanical handling checklist (MHE users only) Ensure that working practices conform to health and safety standard Conform to all SOP`s connected with pallet movements and pallet pulls. Always use PPE when changing or topping up batteries with water. When operating MHE always adhere to good driving standards that are set out by the health and safety commission. Report all damages or faults concerning MHE racking or stock to the team leader. Always remove keys on all MHE equipment when not in use so to isolate the equipment. Maintain a good hygiene standard of MHE equipment.
