We are looking to recruit an experienced Credit Control manager for our established busy and growing company based in Swindon.
The Role
You will be responsible for overseeing the credit control process for the Group.
This role involves managing the credit control team, ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts, minimising credit risk, and maintaining positive relationships with clients.
You will be responsible for developing and implementing credit control policies and procedures to improve cash flow and reduce bad debts.
Develop and implement effective credit control policies and procedures.
Monitor and review outstanding debts, ensuring timely collection and minimising overdue accounts.
Conduct credit checks on new and existing clients to assess creditworthiness.
Negotiate payment plans and settlements with clients to resolve outstanding debts.
Prepare and present regular reports on credit control performance to senior management.
Manage Credit Control's involvement in the annual financial audit.
Experience
Proven experience in credit control, with demonstrable experience in a managerial role.
Strong understanding of credit control principles and practices.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in using credit control software and Microsoft Office applications.
