We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join our team as a Manager, Group Regulatory Policy & Advisory.
The Global Regulatory Policy and Advisory team is responsible for providing guidance on regulatory policy interpretation, business advisory, and engagement with regulators and industry bodies. The role involves providing regulatory analysis and advice for the group, particularly focusing on the Market Risk Framework and current and future rules.
In this role, you will:
1. Provide subject matter guidance and thought leadership on regulatory policy and interpretation of the market risk framework for both current and future rules.
2. Offer market risk regulatory advisory support to internal stakeholders, including risk and finance functions.
3. Support business transaction policies and provide advice.
4. Meet regulatory demands from the FRA, including supporting senior management attestation, thematic reviews, information requests, and Dear CRO letters.
5. Assist the group with regulatory permissions and notifications.
To succeed in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
1. Strong knowledge of current Market Risk Rules, including trading book, banking book boundary, VaR, SVar, IRC, and model change notification requirements.
2. Good understanding of FRTB (ASA and IMA).
3. Experience with regulatory policy and reporting in financial services, consultancy, or regulatory bodies.
4. Ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements and communicate them effectively.
5. Proven experience in developing and reviewing regulatory documentation to ensure compliance.
6. Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence at all organizational levels.
This is a hybrid role based in London or Edinburgh, requiring presence in the office at least two days per week.
