Cambridge Regional College have an exciting opportunity for a Job Coach to join our Supported learning team a vibrant department of the college that helps support, teach and instruct young people to prepare for their adulthood. Ideally, we are looking for someone who is experienced in working in small groups or 1:1 and in delivering skills for life to young people with additional needs. Applicants must able to drive, have access to a car and be willing to travel within the college catchment area. Applicants must have the skills to assess others and be confident working closely with the local authority. Applicants will have the skills to coordinate an independent travel project and carry out administrative task as well as liaise with parents and carers. Applicants will be able to provide training and assessment on a variety of topics and working environments within Supported Learning. You will need to be able to deliver sessions that will include drama, hair and beauty, sport and leisure, and life skills. You must have previous experience of delivering training and assessment at entry level to Level 1. The successful candidate will need to have a positive outlook and a can-do approach. You will need to have good IT skills, Level 2 Maths and English and be able to prepare and maintain resources in different learning environments, including off site trips, the SEND garden and workshop. An ability or willingness to learn how to drive the college mini bus is also desirable.
