Acorns Childrens Hospice are now looking for a Data Analyst to produce meaningful information, analysis reports and training that contribute to the effectiveness of Acorns activities.
About The Role
At Acorns Children’s Hospice we offer specialist palliative care and support for children and their families across the West Midlands. We are there wherever and whenever they need us, in the hospice, community and at home. Our aim at Acorns is to help families feel equipped to cope at every stage of their child’s life with dedicated teams offering psychological, emotional and practical support.
As a Data Analyst, You Will
* Support the maintenance and integrity of the business’ data landscape to a high level, including arranging and undertaking regular data audits and data cleansing to ensure compliance with all legal requirements.
* Utilise advanced tools (SQL) to extract data from data sources.
* Perform data queries and analysis on a variety of in-house, cloud, and partner data systems utilising appropriate methods.
* Support data redaction, cleansing, and integration projects.
* Work across departments to develop and maintain data quality and up-to-date records according to Acorns policies and procedures, using the appropriate technology.
* Support the development of integration of other digital information interfaces such as website, e-marketing, online shop, event registration, etc.
* Undertake analysis of fundraising data to gain key insights into donor behaviour, attrition, campaigns, and behaviour.
About You
* Experience using SQL is essential.
* Experience of writing database queries.
* Experience of carrying out import and export of data.
* Excellent Excel skills.
What We Offer
* £28,000 to £35,000 per annum.
* 37.5 hours per week.
* Based in Birmingham (B47 6JR) with some remote working.

You need to be eligible to work in the UK to be considered for this role. We are committed to safeguarding children and vulnerable adults; therefore, any successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS check for children and will be asked to provide two satisfactory references.
