Reporting to the Group IT Manager, you will look after the Groups IT and technical requirements, including the hotels relevant systems, IT network, general IT infrastructure.
We are looking for an experienced IT Support Engineer to
join our team. Your role will focus on building and maintaining Windows servers
and Active Directory and assisting with the transition from AD to Entra.
Additionally, you will be responsible for in-depth troubleshooting, root cause
analysis, and system integration to ensure the security, infrastructure, and
systems of the network are maintained.
Key Responsibilities
* Monitor and maintain the stability and security of the IT network.
* Ensure all critical business information is backed up according to company policies.
* Provide IT support and advice to various departments, ensuring their systems and equipment meet their needs.
* Maintain IT services provided by third party vendors and maintenance of the telecommunications infrastructure.
* Assist with cabling and the maintenance of IT and telecom systems.
* Be part of a team providing 7-day IT support which includes on-call weekend emergency cover, on a rota basis.
* Focus on knowledge sharing by developing and creating documentation to support the team, with the goal of reducing ticket escalation.

Skills required:
* Experience
with Microsoft Active Directory and Entra for managing users and
computers.
* Certifications
such as Microsoft AZ800 or MS102 (or equivalent).
* Proficiency
with Microsoft 365 products, including Office, Outlook, and Microsoft
Teams.
* Working
knowledge of network protocols (e.g., DHCP, DNS, and NAT).
* Ability
to build, configure, and maintain both physical and virtual Windows
Servers.
Preferred (but not essential):
* Experience
with asset management, maintenance, and tracking of both software and
hardware.
* Familiarity
with Linux commands for building virtual machines (VMs).
Other Requirements:
* Full
UK driving license.
* Eligibility
to work in the UK without sponsorship.
* Ability
to work away from home for short periods, as some work may be required at
remote hotel locations.
