About the role: The HSE Advisor is responsible for providing independent, expert and professional advice and guidance to the site team and its line management team on all health, safety and environmental issues Support the site Team in implementing high standards of proactive and continual improvement ‘We Care’ ethos, including initiatives in behavioural safety, wellbeing and sustainability to ensure a positive impact on the team members Engage and develop relationships with teams to eliminate and reduce risks, develop HSE culture for the site Team and adhere to HSE standards and rules Produce, review and update health, safety and environmental-related documentation required by the allocated site Team as directed by the Head of HSE Offshore Operations and Team Lead HSE Offshore Operations, United Kingdom (UK)/Continental Europe (CE) or required by the HSE function Contribute towards and deliver on annual key performance indicators, annual We Care goals and targets for the site Team and wider business Carry out regular workplace inspections on and offshore Planning, running and recording feedback on emergency response drills Cooperate with line management and where applicable Joint Venture board members to develop and implement measures and solutions to address HSE challenges Job requirements and experience: NEBOSH Certificate, ideally working towards a NEBOSH Diploma Hold IEMA Foundation Certificate in Environmental Management Hold an audit qualification such as ISO 45001/14001 internal auditor Experience in developing, implementing and maintaining a certifiable HSE Management System Ability to build effective working relationships with stakeholders at all levels through verbal and written communication including effective listening skills Already be experienced as an HSE professional Be able to demonstrate a flexible, practical and forward-thinking approach to handling operational HSE challenges To be reliable and have effective organisational skills, systematic, practical and pragmatic approach.
