MEP Project Manager (Clean Water, Steam, Compressed Air, Electrical, DATA & HVAC)
I am currently recruiting a MEP / Utilities Project Manager for a 20-month contract for a major manufacturing organization spending over £50m in a factory refurbishment. As part of this, there will be a redesign and upgrade of the MEP / Site Services for a large factory in the Northwest.
The MEP Project Manager will be responsible for:
1. Several feasibility and redesign of all Utilities / Site Services, which will include:
o Electrical (LV)
o Water (Clean and Waste)
o Steam
o Compressed Air
o Data
2. End-to-end project management of the design, procurement, installation, and commissioning of these services in a live environment, which will require elements of re-routing and zoning while the work is done in phases.
3. Managing cost control, budget, and project management meetings with key stakeholders, ensuring all parties are kept abreast of any major developments, and ensuring a successful completion of the scope of works.
The successful candidate will have:
1. Strong Project Management experience.
2. Experience in feasibility studies in multi-pound value projects.
3. Subject Matter Expertise in utilities used within a food, beverage, FMCG, or pharmaceutical environment, including (Clean Water, Waste Water, Effluent Treatment, Steam, Compressed Air, and HVAC).
4. Experience in the Food, Beverage, or Pharmaceutical industry.
5. HND, BTECH, or Degree in a relevant engineering qualification.
