About the Role We have an excellent opportunity for one individual to join our Validations team as a Validation Analyst on a 12 month Fixed term contract basis, working as part of the Allianz Personal Broker business. This is an entry level analytical position and will be a permanent role based in our Brentwood office. This role does include home-working where you will be required to work from the office between 2 and 16 times a month, with the remaining days working from home. The jobholder’s purpose is to identify, analyse and, where required, resolve potential rating and product errors following rate, product and system changes. This will contribute to maximising the accuracy and efficiency of Allianz Personal Broker pricing and products. This position is analytically focused, you’ll be investigating the root cause of issues and helping find solutions to prevent reoccurrence. Whilst this is a system and analytically focused position, there is some requirement to speak to a range of individuals over the phone. Your new role will involve communication with a wide range of stakeholders including our product delivery team, underwriters, marketing, claims teams, personal operations and external brokers. About You We are looking for a team member who is able to work well within a team as well as having the ability to self-motivate and manage their own workload. Whilst full training will be provided, we are looking for the following skills and experience: Essential Good communication skills, spoken and written IT literate with experience using Microsoft Office, particularly MS Excel Great attention to detail Experience of problem solving Good with figures and mathematical calculations Desirable Working knowledge of broker software house systems Working knowledge of internal systems Understanding of electronic trading with brokers Experience in a similar role Understanding of the insurance industry The Details Investigate, analyse and report on underwriting and rating discrepancies and errors between broker software house systems and Allianz Personal Broker internal systems which have been identified following rate, product and system changes Investigate, analyse and, where required, correct erroneous EDI messages sent from broker systems into Allianz Personal Broker internal systems Follow and utilise processes, working practices and workflow procedures which are in place to support the identification, analysis and resolution duties of the Validations team Support the achievement of the Validation teams technical, operational and service objectives and quality and productivity standards Support & contribute to continuous improvement within the Validations team through the utilisation of technology & process re-engineering Where required, engage positively and effectively with brokers and stakeholders delivering a positive customer experience and high-quality service Be fully multi-skilled across all relevant systems and products Understand & comply with regulatory requirements
