We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, motivated, skilled individual with ideally in-patient mental health clinical care experience to come and join the Learning and Development team as a Clinical Trainer on a 12-month fixed term contract.
The Clinical Trainer will provide specialised education and training to all groups and levels of staff across the Trust. This will include mandatory and non-mandatory training provision. The core topics delivered are moving and handling, Safety Intervention, FFP3 Mask Fit testing, and resuscitation. There will also be the opportunity to provide bespoke specialised training sessions / onsite training sessions to specific staff groups, showing flexibility in approach based on assessment of need.
We are seeking passionate individuals who are able to work within a team, act as a role model, empower staff, and promote best practice. You must have good communication, interpersonal, and training skills which will be proactive in the delivery of support, advice, and training to all staff groups within the Trust. The successful applicant will have significant health care experience and be able to refer to this during training; mental health experience is preferable but not essential.
You must also be a car driver as this is an essential requirement of the role.

This role requires occasional travel to other training venues. There will be occasions when the post holder is required to attend meetings. The post-holder will also be required to spend significant periods of standing delivery training sessions and moving furniture for preparing training venues.
