Registered Home Manager | Elderly and Dementia Care | Canterbury Small, homely and welcoming elderly and dementia Residential Care Home Must be an experienced Registered Manager with elderly and dementia care experience Salary is £40,000 per year About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Registered Home Manager to lead a small-sized residential care home in Canterbury .providing exceptional care for elderly and dementia residents and oversee all aspects of the home's. An excellent opportunity for a Care Home Manager to make their mark on the service, enhance key areas in need of improvement, and ensure stability within the care home Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the care home, ensuring efficient running and maintaining high-quality standards. Supervise and support a team including the Deputy Manager, Unit Manager, and Care Assistants. Oversee financial management, adhering to budgetary guidelines and reporting business performance to the Directors annually. Ensure compliance with CQC standards, maintaining a Good rating across all areas. Manage staff scheduling, performance reviews, and coordinate staff holidays. Provide leadership, direction, and support to all staff, fostering a positive and professional environment. Essential Requirements: At least two years of experience as a Registered Manager in an elderly residential care home, with a proven track record of maintaining high standards and a Good CQC rating. NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or working towards). Strong knowledge of CQC guidelines and the ability to work effectively within these standards. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Ability to motivate and manage a diverse care team.
