The purpose of this job role is to provide accurate and timely processing of company Payroll.
Main Duties
1. Management of the monthly payrolls ensuring strict adherence to deadlines
2. In-house liaison and administration of the pension schemes including auto enrolment processing and letters, employee pension requests and annual pension assessment
3. Provide training and ongoing support to Line Managers for the time and attendance system
4. Providing in-house training on the computerised Payroll system
5. On-going maintenance of the HR/Payroll System
6. On-going maintenance of the time and attendance system including working patterns, absence codes and flexi-time settings
7. Payroll administration including processing starters and leavers for payroll, SSP, SMP, overtime, ad hoc payments, reward and termination payments
8. Administer holiday purchase and voluntary unpaid leave (VULA) schemes
9. Calculate and process entitlements and shutdown/bank holidays on the time and attendance system
10. Process relevant administration at tax year end including P11Ds, P60s and Gender Pay Gap reporting
11. Reconcile account and payment of deduction taken from Payroll
12. Arrange payments to third parties e.g. HMRC, court orders, CSA
13. Generate ad-hoc and scheduled reports for both the Payroll and time and attendance systems as required
