A well-respected law firm is looking to welcome an experienced Private Client Solicitor to its highly esteemed team. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven and knowledgeable solicitor to take the next step in their career, managing a diverse, high-calibre caseload while playing a key role in the firm’s continued growth and success.
The Role:
As a Private Client Solicitor, you’ll lead on complex and sensitive matters, offering bespoke legal solutions. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Handling a wide-ranging caseload including Will drafting, probate and estate administration, inheritance tax planning, and trust creation and management.
2. Advising high-net-worth individuals, families, and business owners on sophisticated estate planning and wealth management strategies.
3. Delivering high-quality legal advice with a tailored and client-centred approach.
4. Supervising and supporting junior team members, contributing to training and team development.
5. Working closely with financial planners, tax advisors, and other professionals to provide holistic client services.
6. Taking an active role in business development and networking, enhancing client relationships and expanding the private client portfolio.
What We’re Looking For:
1. A minimum of 3 years’ PQE in private client law, with hands-on experience in probate, trusts, estate planning, and tax matters.
2. A high level of technical knowledge, with confidence in managing complex and high-value client files.
3. Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to build trusted, long-term client relationships with empathy and professionalism.
4. A forward-thinking, proactive mindset, with a focus on contributing to the team’s growth and long-term objectives.
5. Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication abilities.
6. A strong commitment to business development and enhancing the firm's market presence.
