The Opportunity
Based within our friendly Employer Engagement Team, you'll play a key role in delivering a high-quality, customer-focused recruitment service for our apprenticeships. In this fast-paced environment, you’ll be at the heart of connecting our apprentices with great opportunities, ensuring a smooth and positive recruitment experience for everyone involved.
You’ll support the team in filling apprenticeship vacancies and guide our apprentices through the application process, helping them take their next steps with confidence. Keeping everything running smoothly, you’ll maintain accurate data records using various systems while ensuring all apprenticeship documentation is up to date and meets compliance standards.
From coordinating interviews to tracking outcomes and monitoring attendance, you’ll be the driving force behind a seamless recruitment journey. Regular follow-ups with our applicants will keep them engaged and motivated. Working closely with your colleagues, you’ll ensure recruitment information is recorded accurately and on time.
Strong communication will be essential as you engage with our applicants, employers, and staff, building positive relationships through “keep warm” conversations with our learners. Representing the College at events like open evenings, you’ll also showcase our commitment to apprenticeships while delivering outstanding customer service to both apprentices and employers.
Compliance with GDPR and internal audit guidelines will be a key responsibility, along with promoting diversity, equal opportunities, and inclusivity. Ongoing training and development will support your professional growth, helping you thrive in this role.

Whether you're conducting “keep warm” conversations, coordinating interviews, or tracking progress, you’ll always be one step ahead, ensuring a seamless and positive recruitment process.
Your attention to detail is second nature to you. From maintaining accurate records to ensuring all documentation meets compliance and audit requirements, you take pride in your work each step of the way. You’re confident using recruitment systems and handling administrative tasks efficiently, making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
Ideally, you have experience in recruitment, employer engagement, or a customer-facing role where providing excellent service is a top priority. You’re passionate about apprenticeships and committed to promoting equal opportunities, diversity, and inclusivity in everything you do.
Below is a list of some of the key skills, qualifications and experience we are seeking for this exciting opportunity.
Required
• Level 3 qualification in Business, Customer Service, or related field (or working towards).
• GCSE Maths & English (or equivalent Level 2) (or willing to work towards).
• 2 years’ experience in a fast-paced office, managing operations and workloads.
• Proven ability to record accurate and timely data.
Preferred
• Awareness of GDPR
• Knowledge of education sector and employer engagement
