Position: Infrastructure Delivery Manager
Rate: Indicative Outside IR35

People Group are looking to recruit an Infrastructure Delivery Manager from a Client Side background to work for a Train Operating Company.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Supporting and coaching the contract partners in their delivery of the works packages to enable efficient delivery of their sections of work.
2. Recommending temporary measures to mitigate against safety and/or quality concerns. Follow up by taking appropriate and proportionate action (e.g. issue communications, call meetings) to avoid the halt of works.
3. Ensuring clear, two-way communication with the relevant construction delivery lead so that all activity and issues are directed appropriately.
4. Communicating proactively with other site teams (H&S, contract, project controls, logistics) and delivery managers to maintain good communication links, and ensure activity is well and timely reported.
5. Contributing information on specific areas to weekly and monthly reports, as well as issuing and maintaining performance and KPI indicators.
6. Supporting and providing clear direction to the delivery managers responsible for the areas of work to ensure processes and procedures are followed, and updates communicated.
Your experience, knowledge and skills need to include:
1. Minimum of three years of experience in project management or delivery.
2. Experience working in the UK rail industry client side.
3. Ability to manage multiple projects at once.
4. Understanding of NEC3 / NEC4 Contracts.
